This is a complete replacement of the entire sunroof assembly.
18 gauge steel panel with frame attaches to the existing roof and covers the sunroof opening. The unit attaches securely with bolt-on clamps that tighten the panel to the roof, using windshield urethane in between the two pieces for a weatherproof seal.
12 gauge aluminum molle panel attaches to the inner frame of the unit, and fits in the original sunroof opening in the headliner.
All parts are painted with epoxy primer, black base coat and high solids clear coat.
Sound deadening and insulation: 70 mil butyl and 1/2" jute is installed on the new exterior panel.
Custom color requests for the exterior panel is an option and would be an extra charge.
